I received a call last evening from Jeanine Schommer reporting that Kayla had to be transported last night to Fradert Hospital because of serious conditions. She was diagnosed initially with Influenza B and also shows some swelling on her brain. This is a very serious situation and they are very concerned about the swelling. Please pray for Kayla and the Schommer family. I will keep you updated as the family provides information.
Tomorrow is the National Day of Prayer. I have been asked to take two of our students to the YMCA and pray for schools in the FDL area. Ellen Spoor and Levi Shaeffer will be with me tomorrow morning at 6:00am for this event. I know this is early for most of you to make however if you want to join us there is room to participate.
The High School and Jr High will be participating from 10:30 – 11:30 in a public reading of Scripture in the Veteran’s Park downtown FDL.
TBS will be reading the book of Acts during that time. Come and listen to us as we participate in reading through the entire New Testament!
