Good Morning,

“As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, oh God.  My soul thirsts for God, for the living God….”  These lyrics found in Psalm 42 written by the sons of Korah are health to my spirit this morning.  It is so easy to let myself get to a place where God isn’t…..how about you?  I tend to try to solve all the worlds problems and give answers to every situation.  There are some situations there are no answers to give but to let change just be.  I do not have the providential hand of God as my hand, nor do I have the righteous judgments to guide my all-knowing spirit; rather I am a limited and finite being that can only see the step that God has set for today.
I hope your heart thirsts after God as was quoted.  True thirst is a powerful motivator and a circumstance that can cause a man to make irrational decisions.  If one is very thirsty he may do anything to satisfy themouth with water.  I struggle to have a desire to properly thirst everyday since the fatigue is sometimes overwhelming.  I know I do not only speak for myself, but rather many who have similar daily struggles.  May God give us the passion and energy to place that foot on the path in faith to obey him not man!
Today we will have an award ceremony for the school at 6:30 (Trinity Baptist Church).  I know that there will be many things not said, however there are some that should be highlighted.  Come and join us and enjoy the evening together.
