TBS Nation,

Where did that weekend go?  Hopefully this is not the kind of morning you are having…It was good to enjoy some time off and relax knowing that Monday we did not have to be in school mode.  It was a nice weekend but it just seemed to go so fast.

This week is going to be a bit on the wet side of things. Rain today and tomorrow will keep some of our school activities to the gym. This week Friday TBS will be sending out Progress Reports to the students and families.  Eligibility of sports including the Elementary Volleyball teams are under these standards.  Each student is to have at least a 74 C- in each of his classes to be eligible.  If not the student may not play sports beginning Friday after school (September 9th / 3:00pm).  Students not up to par with grades may ask for after school help so that they can use the week to correct the situation.

Kiwanis Pork Fest is just around the corner.  TBS still has need for volunteers on September 22nd, 3:00pm – 7:30pm.  If you are able and willing to help in this community fundraiser please consider helping our cause!  Talk to Jeremy Shaeffer for more information!

Prayer Request:  Pray for a dear friend of TBS Dick Winkler.  Dick and his wife Jean found out that Dick has Liver cancer and has some very important doctor visits this morning.  Pray for God’s providence and healing on his behalf.  If you know the Winkler’s please pray for them and lift them up especially today and this week as they find out the details of this terrible disease.
