It is the last day of school until our Thanksgiving Break, and I know many are planning a fun holiday. It is good once in a while to get a break from the crazy schedule and do something different. It is my intention to slow down for a while so that there is a difference in my time away. Often we can enter a holiday and pack more into the schedule because we feel the need to really do a lot. When we do that we often come back to the next week more exhausted than we entered it. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose?
Anyway, congratulations to the Mayes family on their successful hunt. Micah, his brother and dad were able to take four deer this year. I know others have had success but I have not heard of it yet.
TBS needs to continue to pray for Lydia Spoor. Tiffany and Eric have been down in Milwaukee for many days trying to find out what Lydia’s health is doing. There are not many answers yet however they are getting many tests done to rule out any major issues. There seems to be perhaps an explanation as to the ups and downs in her health but more tests are going to be done. We should pray for the team of Dr’s who are leading the testing on Lydia’s behalf.
I hope you have a great day and safety over the holiday. May God be gracious to you as you remember Him in Thanksgiving!
