TBS Nation,

Great First day for all of TBS it seemed.  Each year that comes it seems like there are fewer and fewer problems to start and that is a good thing.  I am very excited to see the enthusiasm of the students this year.  There seems to be a good bunch of kids that have right attitudes this year…that is exciting for me as the leader of TBS.  My prayer is that we continue this all year!

Most of you know Dave Shell Sr. passed away Saturday afternoon.  Dave was a huge part of our school fundraising and had a real passion for TBS.  Please pray for the family and his wife as they deal with this loss.  There will be a Funeral Service at Hope Lutheran Church at 7:00pm on Thursday evening.  We will miss Dave and his friendship but we know that it was his time to go.  Cards and notes can be brought to the TBS school office as I will be attending the service on Thursday night.  I will bring those to the family for you if you are unable to attend.

God is good even in the hard times.  We have to believe this because God is God and we are not!
