TBS PICTURE DAY! Don’t forget to bring in your order forms for the day….
Remember that TBS will not be having school tomorrow due to the Winkler Funeral at TBC. If you are planning on attending that funeral please park in the McDermott Parking lot as there will be many in attendance who are not familiar with the church. Our parking lot is small and we want to give the Winkler family priority for this day.
The rain is almost gone and the Cubs won…..What is this world coming to? Here is a more important question that has been weighing on my mind lately. How are you doing in your personal walk with Christ? Are you in a relationship with him that is active? Are you listening to the Spirit as He leads you?
These are questions that come to mind every time that I see your children in this building. I often wonder if TBS is getting through to the child. I also wonder if there are parents that are willing to correct their lives so that children have the opportunity to grow and mature in Christ. These may be harsh words for a Thursday morning but I know they are true. If we scratch the surface of private lives what would be revealed? I often talk about being transparent to students. Transparency does not equal perfection, but it does mean that I am humble enough to admit my sin and my wrong. Once that is done I can move to ask for forgiveness and then repent (turn away from) those actions or deeds. I receive restoration and freedom that helps me grow. To much fertilizer on the lawn will kill it. Lots of Bible is not the answer. Letting the truth in the Bible convict helps purge our hearts and cultivate/prime it for growth! Where are you in the journey today?
Just some thoughts…..
