TBS Nation,

Thanksgiving is now behind us and now it is the mad rush until the next holiday of Christmas.  Over the past couple of days I literally turned off the phone and did not open the computer to try to unplug for a few days.  I think the result was that I was more aware of peoples needs because of the personal interaction as opposed to the FB or emails that substitute personal interaction. I also have a bunch of emails and phone calls / text messages to return!  Regardless of the phone and computer thing, it was good to have a break and spend some time with family and friends.  I trust you were able to do the same.
Today marks the 6th week of the quarter. TBS will be in school full time now until December 22nd.  That last Friday is a full day of school – just an FYI.  As the Christmas Holiday season approaches there is much to do and much to be involved in.  TBS will be in the Holiday Parade this coming Saturday.  We are looking for students and parents willing to be on the float (students) and some willing to hand out candy and pass out TBS Auction information (parents).  It will be a good night and gives TBS an opportunity to get out into the community to show FDL who we are!   Also, TBS will be involved in a give back Tuesday event held at the Salvation Army this Tuesday.  TBS elementary students will sing a few songs to encourage and help support the event.
Hope your Monday goes well!
