Jan 20, 2014 News & Notes

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend filled with rest and relaxation.  Busy schedules and routine activities seem to clutter the calendar and we sometimes miss our mark of true rest.  I’m as guilty as the next man with this however it is a good thing to stop every once in a while and “smell the roses” as it were.  I am happy to report to you that City Lights had a very successful night on Saturday evening singing to around crowd of 70 or so.  We sang a total of 19 songs and spent an hour entertaining the guests.  We were able to earn $300.00 for our efforts.  A BIG thanks to Tim Krause, Dan Leeds, Rory Martin, Randy Martin for their efforts Saturday Evening!

**February 6th – TBS Financial Prayer Night

I want to extend a formal invitation to all of our Parents and TBS Friends to join me at the school on this Thursday evening to pray again for the TBS Deficit.  We have seen God do some great things for us this year concerning this request.  At the beginning of the school year we saw a deficit of over $24, 500.00 and we are down to just over $19,000.00.  God is working on our behalf and I would like to have more of you come and join us in prayer.  This usually lasts about 30 minutes or so and kids/students are welcome to come.  Thank you to those who pray from home about these things – I know that some cannot make it because of schedule!  We press on!
