Trinity Baptist School Varsity Boys lost their home opener to FCS by a final score of 53-54. The Patriots got off to a terrific start by blowing out the Falcons 11-0 in the first 4 minutes of the game. Great inside play and outside shooting by Charlie Leeds kept the Patriots in the lead for the first half.

The Falcons however were also right behind the Patriots due to good penetration and outside shooting. Tony Tizo had a great second half putting the Falcons within reach. The Patriots were able to hold off the FCS comeback until turnovers took over and the Patriots self-destructed. FCS made a free throw with 4 seconds left to gain the lead for the first time in the ball game. Trinity was able to secure one last chance and turned the ball over with two seconds to go in the game. FCS went on to win by one point.

However disappointing the loss, the Patriots will have to really put the petal to the metal for the next week. The Patriots have Bay City on Monday, December 14th, Wyldwood on Tuesday, December 15th and FCS (Away) again on Thursday, December 17th.
